At Gateway to Wellness, our vision is to create a world where mental health is a top priority and everyone has access to quality mental healthcare. We believe that mental health is just as important as physical health and we are committed to breaking down the barriers that prevent people from receiving the care they need.

We offer mental health services, over the lifespan. Services include medication management, with therapy. Patients can be seen in person or via telehealth.

Benzodiazepines Policy

This practice does not prescribe benzodiazepines. Research shows that benzodiazepines should not be taken long term because of risks and dependence.

We take a client-centered approach to mental healthcare, recognizing that each client is unique and has their own set of needs and goals. We work collaboratively with our clients to develop personalized treatment plans that are tailored to their specific needs.

Veronica Lee, PMHNP

As a psychiatric mental health nurse practitioner (PMHNP), Veronica has worked with all age groups, including children and geriatric populations. She is passionate about providing quality, compassionate, and holistic mental healthcare to every individual. Veronica will provide evidence-based care through assessing, diagnosing, prescribing, and developing a treatment plan, with input from the patient. She enjoys working with a diverse population.

Veronica graduated with a 2nd Bachelor of Science degree in nursing from Curry College. She worked for 13 years at the VA Boston Healthcare System in different capacities, including spinal cord floor nursing, the operating room, as a clinical educator, and research nursing. She obtained a Master of Science degree at Regis College in Nursing Leadership/Health Administration, while working at the VA Hospital. After working with the veteran population for many years, Veronica decided to pursue a career in psychiatry. She returned to school to obtain a Post Master's Certificate as a Psychiatric Mental Health Nurse Practitioner (PMHNP).
