As a psychiatric mental health nurse practitioner (PMHNP), Veronica has worked with all age groups, including children and geriatric populations. She is passionate about providing quality, compassionate, and holistic mental healthcare to every individual. Veronica will provide evidence-based care through assessing, diagnosing, prescribing, and developing a treatment plan, with input from the patient. She enjoys working with a diverse population.
Veronica graduated with a 2nd Bachelor of Science degree in nursing from Curry College. She worked for 13 years at the VA Boston Healthcare System in different capacities, including spinal cord floor nursing, the operating room, as a clinical educator, and research nursing. She obtained a Master of Science degree at Regis College in Nursing Leadership/Health Administration, while working at the VA Hospital. After working with the veteran population for many years, Veronica decided to pursue a career in psychiatry. She returned to school to obtain a Post Master's Certificate as a Psychiatric Mental Health Nurse Practitioner (PMHNP).
